Memorial Day Weekend tends to be one of Park’s busiest weekends.
Lanes entering Zion National Park’s South Entrance will be closed for 15 minute intervals 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday April 4, and Wednesday April 5, 2017. In preparation of moving the South Entrance Monument, in order to accommodate more entrance lanes, Park archaeologists will be 3D laser scanning the Monument.

Zion National Park’s Scenic Drive at the Lodge has been closed since late Friday January 13th due to a large rock slide.
Four artists have been selected to serve as the Park’s Artists-in-Residence throughout the 2017 season. The artists were selected from a large pool of applicants in partnership with Southern Utah University.
The mandatory Zion National Park shuttles will run on weekends only through November 20 and also on November 24, 25 and 26, 2016. Both the Springdale Shuttle and Zion Canyon Shuttle lines will be operational to help with the Thanksgiving holiday traffic. All shuttle bus operations will end for the 2016 season on the evening of Saturday, November 26, 2016.
Zion National Park is heading into its late fall season. Striking fall colors and beautiful weather make it a great time to visit the park. It is also the time of year that the park shuttle service makes changes to its schedule.
Zion is one of twenty national park finalists competing for a portion of a $2 million grant from Partners in Preservation, a community-based partnership between American Express and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
