On January 5th, 2017 nature lovers and birders of all levels of experience will gather at Bryce Canyon National Park to participate in the world’s longest running citizen bird census.
Four artists have been selected to serve as the Park’s Artists-in-Residence throughout the 2017 season. The artists were selected from a large pool of applicants in partnership with Southern Utah University.
After centuries of existence, and decades of inspiring quiet awe, the hoodoo known as “The Sentinel” succumbed to the erosional forces that continue to define the landscape of Bryce Canyon National Park.
As winter weather transforms Bryce Canyon National Park’s red rock landscape, park facilities and concession services will close in observance of holidays and to permit seasonal maintenance.
